BIG Live, the intellectual property vertical and 92.7 BIG FM, the radio arm of Reliance Broadcast, has announced the launch of their new contribution the ‘BIG Salute to Tamil Women Entertainers Awards’, to honour women across seven regional markets and will celebrate the success of the Indian woman entertainer across six different genres viz. Cinema, Television, Music, Media, Dance and Sports.
The awards are a first-of-its-kind initiative to honour women entertainers without whom entertainment would never be complete and will be open to audiences for voting through 92.7 BIG FM, SMS and online.
The nominees will be selected by a jury panel, locally identified for each region. The awards will have two categories - young and senior - across the segments, covering all age groups and engaging a vast profile of viewers.
Additionally, categories like Cinema and Television will be directly put to popular voting on 92.7 BIG FM.
