There will be a special homam and abhishekam for Lord Sanieswarar at the Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam temple during Sanipeyarchi on December 21, 2011.
According to a note from ashram manager P Santhanam, the homam and abhishekam would be performed from 9 a.m. at the temple.
This year’s Sanipeyarchi would impact the rasis Mesham, Midhunam, Katakam, Kanni, Thulam, Vrichikam, Makaram, Kumbam and Meenam. So, the temple advises that people belonging to these rasis should perform parihara poojas.
Santhanam adds an invite at the end of the note: All devotees are invited to participate and receive the bountiful blessings of Lord Sanieswarar and Sathguru Shrimath Santhananda Swamigal – the founder of the temple.
