One business that has a roaring time in summer is selling ice cream. With the summer heat parching our throats and pushing us into having some cool treat every few hours, it is peak time for ice cream-sellers. And everybody jumps into this business in summer to make a fast buck.
People of all social strata enjoy ice creams according to the weight of their purse. While many Chennaiites go in for exclusive ice cream parlours where they splurge on many delightful flavours, the street urchins also have a gala time going in for the kulfi ice creams that are sold late evening in all localities - at their doorstep.

Fruits Delight Waffle has a colourful appearance and the waffle and fruit taste mix and mingle delightfully in one’s mouth.
Dates and Nuts is crunchy and sweet with the assortment of nuts.
There is only one word to describe Walnut Cherry Sundae - yummy.
Shift focus from Creamy Inn to ‘Raja Paal Nilayam’. This shop that sells Kwality Walls ice creams is situated on Periyar Salai, Eldams Road, Teynampet.
Raja sells the ice creams for a reasonable price. Summer special ice creams are Tutti Frooti, Vanilla, Disc Chocolate, Snacker, Badaam, Strawberry and Disc Vanilla.
 Paddle Pop varieties are strawberry Jelly Kick, Apple Grape Jelly, Chocobar Junior.
Crunchy Tutti Frooti seems to be everybody’s favourite, especially the girls from the local college.
While Badaam ice cream tastes of pure almonds, each bite of Disc Chocolate is a treat.
