Mango desserts month at Accord

In order to attract mango-lovers, The Accord Metropolitan hotel on G N Chetty Road, T Nagar, is holding the delicious ‘Mango Seasonal Dessert’ food fest at their Seasons Cafe this May.

Anyone walking into the cafe that boasts of a fantastic ambience would be temped to try all the 10 varieties of the velvety desserts on offer.

‘Baked Sour Mango Custard’, made with fresh mango pulp mixed with milk and egg along with the sour essence of mangoes, ‘Mango Savarin’ made with milk and cream, ‘Mango and Choco Baker Special’ made with white choco with mango pulp and cream, ‘Chilled Mango and Coco Cream’ made with coconut milk extract along with fresh mangoes, and ‘Mango Bevarin’ made with mango flavour which is stuffed in spring rolls are bound to catch your attention.

The assorted desserts were prepared by deputy chef Kannan who says, “Our focus lies mainly on the seasonal fruits as far as food fest related to desserts are concerned.” That is the reason why they have chosen mango as the seasonal fruit to beat the summer heat. The winter special seasonal fruit which they make use of is kiwi.

Deputy chef Chandra declared that they are very particular about the satisfaction of their customers – be it their comfort, hospitality or serving them delicious dishes according to their taste.

Active manager Asif Ali, who holds “active communication with the customers”, says that helps them correct mistakes, if any, in the preparation of the dishes. The added advantage of the Seasons Cafe (coffee shop) is the 24 hours service with multi-cuisine facility which makes it more attractive.

The mango dessert month offers delicious desserts that not only attract kids but also lure adults to the hotel, says Asif Ali.

So, get ready for the chilled treat at the most appealing edifice in the city (Accord) in the most vibrant of places (T Nagar).
