Groundnut sundal

Ingredients

Groundnuts - 250 gm

Red chillies - 4

Green chillies - 4

Asafoetida powder - 1 spoon

Oil - 4 spoons

Mustard - 2 spoons

Grated coconuts - 2 cups

Curry leaves

Salt to taste

Method

Soak the groundnuts in water for two hours. Cook in a pressure cooker with water. Drain the water after it is cooked. In a pan, pour oil and heat it. Add mustard and after it splutters, add salt, red and green chillies, asafoetida powder and toss it for some time.

Add the groundnuts to it. Keep tossing it for five minutes till it mixes well. Garnish it with grated coconuts and curry leaves.
