Coimbatore, June 25: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi tonight said the headquarters of the Tamil Semmozhi office will be set up shortly at Fort St. George.
Speaking at a symposium on ‘Engum Tamizh Edhilum Tamizh’ (Tamil Everywhere) at the World Tamil Semmozhi Conference here, Karunanidhi said the new office work would be taken up after the completion of the new Secretariat complex on Anna Salai.
The Semmozhi office would come up near the old Assembly. It would also have a room for the Chief Minister there to oversee the Semmozhi work.
Karunanidhi said leaders of various political parties had made several useful suggestions for the development of Tamil language and culture and he was grateful to all of them.
