The suave and smart actor from Kerala Prithviraj entered into wedlock on Monday with BBC journalist Supriya Menon, who is stationed in Mumbai, at a resort Kandath heritage villa, in Palakkad, Kerala. They have been in love for some time. Both hail from Kerala.
The marriage was a private affair keeping away the media and the public. Prithviraj’s mother Mallika, along with his brother, actor Indrajit, and wife Poornima attended the marriage.
Prithviraj wore a mundu and kurta, Supriya wore a traditional Kerala saree. Supriya, a native of Shanthi Nagar in Palakkad, arrived with her father Vijay Menon and mother Padma. Friends and relatives accompanied them.
There was heavy security at the premises and the couple drove to Ernakulam after the wedding. The reception is scheduled at Le Meridian at Ernakulam on April 30.
