The Puducherry unit of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) today urged the administration to hand over the counterfeit currency case here to any central agency for investigation.A declaration to this outcome was adopted at the office bearers meeting of the party here today. Anotehr resolution urged the Lt.Governor Iqbal singh to convene the territorial assembly forthwith to discuss issues such as the cyclone relief, the schemes announced by the N R Congress in its election manifesto and the schemes yet to be implemented.The meeting urged the administration to press the Centre to obtain more funds towards cyclone relief. Yet another resolution urged the administration to withdraw the enhanced Value Added Tax(VAT) in the wake of the cyclone.
