TN Govt caution on medical ,dental courses

The Tamil Nadu Government today said any admissions made by colleges for medical and dental courses for the academic year 2012-12 without the consent of the committee formed by it to ensure fair and transparent admission process, would not be valid. In a statement issued for the benefit of students aspiring to join Medical and Paramedical courses, the State Government said no institution or Association was allowed to make any admission for medical courses without obtaining prior permission from the Committee.. ''Students and their Parents are advised to ensure whether the advertisement and applications issued by the institutions and association are issued only after obtaining the permission from the Committee. "Any admission made without obtaining the permission from the Committee shall not be valid'', according to sources.
